This has kind of been an annual thing, since my collection seems to grows by one figure each year.
My uncle was kind enough to pick this up on his trip to Japan for me, since he knows I'm pretty interested in these figures.
This one has been on my wish list since it was released, but it was pretty rare for me to find one in Taiwan. In fact, I've only seen it once, tucked away on a high shelf and overpriced, so I didn't bother..
Anyways, here are some unboxing photos I took!

It comes with plenty of swappable faces, and what I like about these pieces are that you can actually swap the cape so that it can fit around the different arm pieces.

Shinku comes with her doll case as well, which is super neat. And her turn-key that you can stick on the back.
Shinku's overall character design is super cute and classy. The twintails are also adjustable, is also a plus.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm getting used to putting the pieces together or not, but switching the pieces on Shinku was the least stressful experience I've had compared to Sakura and Himari. Shinku is probably my new favorite out of the three that I currently have, haha.

I went to Taiwan again for spring break to visit a relative and I had the chance to go to Taipei MRT Main Station's 地下街 again.
I've been eyeing this little one since it came out, and I found it in a small store that also sold other figmas/nendoroids that I really wanted.
After going back and forth between picking up a Satsuki nendoroid from Kill la Kill and Sakura, I eventually picked the one with more detail. = 7 =
I got Sakura for about 1950 NTD which is about $40, which I thought was pretty fair since the release price was 4,444 yen on Good Smile and it's a price has stayed the same/gone up.

So here is kind of a blurry picture of the original boxing, super cute and pretty.

and here you can see all the parts that came with it, apparently it also comes with an additional magic circle you can add to the base, but it wasn't in the box so I was kind of disappointed because you can easily get swindled in Taiwan if you're not paying close attention like me. = 3 =

so on the box it gives you all these pose ideas, and I wanted to try doing the one with her on her flying staff because it looked the cutest. it kind of went downhill from there.
first of all this piece of cute shit, was the hardest thing in the world to stick on her skirt. The peg wouldn't jam into the hole no matter how hard I pressed it, and I got really frustrated. (mind you I'm a total noob when it comes to assembly nendoroids). And that wasn't the end of my terrors, the extra skirt pose that allowed you to use this staff would not stay with the upper body. I tried countless times to get it to stay together, but the peg didn't have enough friction to hold everything together. ; A ; I was so miserable at this point I basically tried everything over and just jammed everything together twice as hard, and it finally worked, until it came time to put everything on the stand all hell broke loose again. otz

so here are the final product images, I gave up on trying to make her hold the staff in her hand because I would have broke her arm off trying to get the right pose, sigh maybe next time when I have more patience.
oh well, a couple cool points for giving kerberos his own stand and making the hat magnetic so it would stick exactly in the right spot, unlike Himari, I didn't have any trouble getting the hat to stay causing less trouble for me than it did when I was trying to assemble Himari, but her hat was too damn heavy so it kept falling off.

would I recommend this?
probably, but maybe to more intermediate nendoroid collectors, assembly her was worth the pain though. She's still super cute even if I can't get her freaking hand to fit on the staff. ;_______;

While I was staying in Taiwan I got the chance to roam freely around Taipei almost everyday, and eventually I made the stop to every otaku's "holy site", Taipei's 地下街, underground city mall.
It was pretty accessible and is right in Taipei's main station. It's filled from left to right with glorious anime/manga stores and all that good stuff.
I managed to pick up a couple figures, but I'm only going to be keeping my nendoroid one, hahaha. It was on sale for $20 so I just grabbed it off the stack and made an impulse buy.

I'll be selling the other 2 figures I picked up on ebay and whatnot

//shameless self-advertising cough

anyways, on with the good stuff...
I totally forgot to snap a pic of the original boxing, but who cares ; 7;
here's the empty box and the plastic holdings that was inside.

and it took me the longest time to fit the back on the stand, it was a real struggle. as you can see, she still suspends mid-air because of my incompetent jamming skills.

the nendoroid also came with the three penguins, they're so cute!! I love how they added the back details on the penguins too.

and I'm too lazy right now to change up the arms and faces, etc so here are two close-ups. I'm really loving her eyes and everythang. e 7 e

my friends in Taiwan took me around 101, karoking, eating lots of good food. I also got a hair cut to get my hair thinned because I cannot survive in this heat with long heavy hair. qqq

I traveled with my auntie's mom and even though the entire tour party spoke only Chinese and Taiwanese, it was still pretty enjoyable. Each night we stayed at a different hotel that had a hot spring in it. It was pretty neat!! The tour was a week long and I visited many parks and flower gardens.

I came back to Taiwan to resume my travels, and go to Chinese school camp. I met a lot of people from California and some more Taiwanese people. ^ ^
