a little update journal, i'm currently in the last couple weeks of my trip, here are some of my latest adventures.
my first few days in Taipei, Taiwan
my friends in Taiwan took me around 101, karoking, eating lots of good food. I also got a hair cut to get my hair thinned because I cannot survive in this heat with long heavy hair. qqq
during my stay around Hokkaido, Japan
I traveled with my auntie's mom and even though the entire tour party spoke only Chinese and Taiwanese, it was still pretty enjoyable. Each night we stayed at a different hotel that had a hot spring in it. It was pretty neat!! The tour was a week long and I visited many parks and flower gardens.
I came back to Taiwan to resume my travels, and go to Chinese school camp. I met a lot of people from California and some more Taiwanese people. ^ ^
sorry I haven't been able to update you guys with any new art, see you guys soon!

Shinku Rozen Maiden Nendoroid Unboxing
This has kind of been an annual thing, since my collection seems to grows by one figure each year.
My uncle was kind enough to pick this up on his trip to Japan for me, since he knows I'm pretty interested in these figures.
This one has been on my wish list since it was released, but it was pretty rare for me to find one in Taiwan. In fact, I've only seen it once, tucked away on a high shelf and overpriced, so I didn't bother..
Anyways, here are some unboxing photos I took!
It comes with plenty of swappable faces, and what I like about these pieces are that you can actually swap the cape so that it can fit around the different arm pieces.
Kinomoto Sakura Nendoroid Unboxing
I went to Taiwan again for spring break to visit a relative and I had the chance to go to Taipei MRT Main Station's 地下街 again.
I've been eyeing this little one since it came out, and I found it in a small store that also sold other figmas/nendoroids that I really wanted.
After going back and forth between picking up a Satsuki nendoroid from Kill la Kill and Sakura, I eventually picked the one with more detail. = 7 =
I got Sakura for about 1950 NTD which is about $40, which I thought was pretty fair since the release price was 4,444 yen on Good Smile and it's a price has stayed the same/gone up.
So here is kind of a blurr
Nendoroid Himari unboxing!
While I was staying in Taiwan I got the chance to roam freely around Taipei almost everyday, and eventually I made the stop to every otaku's "holy site", Taipei's 地下街, underground city mall.
It was pretty accessible and is right in Taipei's main station. It's filled from left to right with glorious anime/manga stores and all that good stuff.
I managed to pick up a couple figures, but I'm only going to be keeping my nendoroid one, hahaha. It was on sale for $20 so I just grabbed it off the stack and made an impulse buy.
I'll be selling the other 2 figures I picked up on ebay and whatnot
